Full Itinerary details are included below.

Day 1: Nairobi - Laikipia

Fly from Nairobi to Laikipia and drive to Tumaren, north of Nanyuki, a place rich in wildlife. Camels, the team and camp, located on the Ewaso Nyiro River, greet you on arrival with cool drinks and lunch. This evening take a guided walk and enjoy sundowners. (LD)

Day 2: Laikipia

This morning walk downstream to Nambor Camp, an area popular with elephants and plains game. (BLD)

Day 3: Laikipia

Today walk downstream into the drier hilly country where the river cuts through a gorge and rushes through great rocks. Camp will be at Leshashi, under the shady Tortillis trees by some rapids. (BLD

Day 4: Laikipia

Continue walking downstream passing occasional local Samburu herds coming down to drink and as the area is frequented by elephants, there may be the opportunity to get up close to them. Arrive at Nagaratat Camp for lunch and afternoon of relaxation. (BLD)

Day 5: Laikipia

Today walk further downstream. The landscape is spectacular and camp for the next two nights will be at Namasaa, under some enormous trees, near to the hippo pools. (BLD

Day 6: Laikipia

Wake up early and walk to the pinnacle, Ngai Suisui, with a dramatic 360 degree view of the area, and a nesting site for a pair of eagles. Enjoy breakfast on the rock before returning to camp to relax during the heat of the day. (BLD)

Day 7: Laikipia - Nairobi

On the final day say goodbye to the camels, transfer to Nanyuki and fly back to Nairobi (B)

Gorilla Trekking - Stay 3 / Pay 2!

Spend three nights at atmospheric Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp and only pay for two. This is a saving of $600 per couple!

For $2,055 per person twin share enjoy 3-nights at the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp including one gorilla permit per person, all meals, park entrance fees, a choice of one of the activities provided by Gorilla Forest Camp, return Kigali airport transfers, drinks (except premium brands) and laundry.

Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is the ideal base for a gorilla tracking adventure in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Once in a while the gorillas even wander into the camp itself. Guests can dine under the stars and relax by the roaring campfire. On cooler evenings, the central cottage provides a warm shelter.
